Testimonials

“The food was fantastic and the ambiance better. The outdoor dining was romantic; in fact we are considering renting the barn behind the restaurant for our wedding.”

“I can't say enough good things about this special place. We love it for the amazing atmosphere, beautiful patio in a country setting with serene views and usually a breeze, and the food is first class. They usually have specials and tonight we had the hallibut (outstanding, so fresh, polenta, fresh snap peas so yummy), and I had the salmon rigatoni. It had fresh herbs and was so flavorful. For dessert, bread pudding. It is among the best I have ever had. If you are looking for a unique laid back experience with outstanding food, don't miss this place. ”

“The Welfare Cafe and Goat Barn hosted my wedding and reception on October 5, 2013, and did an amazing job! Gabby, owner/operator, went above and beyond to give my wedding the perfect twist of rustic elegance. The staff was timely and professional and the food was exquisite; their bread pudding is to die for!

Gabby made the entire event look like a walk in the park.

Thank you so much for an amazing evening!
